Tips on Floral Care

Here at LA Mirada Flower Delivery, we willingly share information on flowers to help them better manage flowers better and they last a bit longer.

Tip 1: flowers are beautiful and you would like to place them on the window sills but the heat from direct heat will wither them in two days. If you want the bouquet to last keep it away from the windows.

Tip 2: Once in a while when you call to place an order make sure you ask if there are discount offers.  

Tip 3: Change the water in the vase every day, cut the flower stems at an angle before placing them back and get a trustworthy floral preservative from Flower Delivery LA Mirada.

Tip 4: If you are out of preservative, it does not mean that your bouquet should be ruined. Make your own by adding a quarter 7Up and three quarters fill with water. To this mixture add bleach about three drops.

Tip 5: Changing vase water is not just pouring and adding fresh water and you are done. Thoroughly wash with soap, the vase every time you are changing the water to get rid of bacterial clinging to the vase and to avoid contamination of the new water.
